The term Lorem ipsum refers to those texts that are incomprehensible, that is, no one can derive any logical meaning from them, and have been created with the aim of presenting to the reader only the graphic characteristics, in themselves, of a text (e.g. font, size and color of letters) or a visual presentation and not to express written speech. These texts usually begin with this term and are very often used in graphic design. They are usually composed of Latin words or words that resemble Latin, but without excluding texts with words from other languages. The reason for choosing incomprehensible texts rather than meaningful text excerpts is to emphasize the graphic characteristics of a text and its layout in order to make their selection, without distracting the reader from the language, style, syntax or content of a comprehensible text.
